MORAN, Mary Kathryn "Kay" (nee McKeown) February 16, 1924 - May 16, 2011 Peacefully at North York General Hospital (NYGH), Toronto. Devoted wife of the late Ronald ("Mickey") Moran. Proud mother of Mike, Steve, and Terry. Delighted mother-in-law, after many years in a family of men, to Lee, Audrey, and Helen. Loving grandmother of Samantha, Elisabeth, and Riddock. Survived by her brother Edward ("Ned"), predeceased by her parents George and Myrtle (Nugent) and sister Nancy. Kay was good-natured and outgoing, an avid gardener and bridge player, an enthusiastic traveller and camper, and a practitioner of bonsai and tai chi. Her famous sayings included "There's always room for dessert." Our deepest thanks to the staff of the Oncology Day Clinic, Oncology Ward, and the Palliative Care Unit at NYGH. A celebration of Kay's life will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville), Toronto on Saturday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m.. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family will greatly appreciate donations to Myeloma Canada, P.O.
