When my mother, Ellice Dryer, told me that she had met a new friend at the Bradgate Arms , I was pleased for her. When I learned that the friend was Dorothy Ringer, the mother of my best friend in high school, I was thrilled! What a great pleasure it was to meet this warm and wonderful woman again after 4 decades. I have enjoyed all the encounters since then and it has been great fun seeing Leslie and her sisters again and meeting other members of the family. I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity.

I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know Dorothy not so long ago when I worked with her on the sale of her family home in Leaside. As Dorothy and I got to know each other a little bit more with each visit and conversation, she would tell me about her family and little bits of information about her current and past life. At the end of every visit she always had a question for me. Something personal about my life, a question that she had obviously been pondering before each meeting. It was very endearing. The Dorothy I came to know was very inquisitive, so proud of her family and her choices in life, and an extremely gracious person. My heart goes out to you in sympathy, Allison, Laura, Leslie and your families.
