My mother, Marie Frazee, and I would like to express our sincere condolences to the Tory family. I remember meeting Mr. & Mrs. Tory when they were guests of my parents at a cocktail party in 1966 or 1967. They were the youngest guests at the party (by at least 10 years) and as they were saying their goodbyes, a lady standing next to me commented to her husband: "Did you meet John Tory and his wife Liz? My God, they're just kids" To which her husband replied: "Movers and shakers, nonetheless" It must have made an impression on me because I remember it as clearly now as I did 45 years ago!

JOHN AND FAMILY. I PRAY THAT THE ENCLOSED POEM WHICH LOOKS AT DEATH FROM A DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINT MAY PROVIDE SOME CONSOLATION AT THIS SAD TIME. SINCERELY. BOB COFFEY Gone from my Sight I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says: “There, she’s gone!” Gone where? Gone from my sight – that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side; and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her; and just at the moment when someone at my side says: “There, she’s gone!”, there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout – “Here she comes!”. And that is dying. Henry Van Dyke

In your time of sorrow remember that a man is defined by how he faces life's challenges & responsibilities. "Life affords no greater responsibility, no greater privilege, than the raising of the next generation." What a legacy your Dad has left.
