Dear Barb, Bob and Family, We are so sorry to hear of your Mother's/Grandmother's passing. She's been a wonderful neighbour and friend to us for the past 7 years. We're sorry we couldn't be at the Memorial Service last Wednesday, we were on vacation and were very saddened to receive your message. Thank you for calling. We will miss seeing your Mom/Grandmother out front on her hands and knees pulling weeds in her beautifully manicured lawn. Her front lawn was always so delicate and sweet looking, just like Dee Dee. She had a great spirit and a strong will. We don't know many people who are able to live on their own at 88 years old but if anyone could it was your mother! We can only aspire to be as young in our 80's as she was. Not only was she self sufficient at home but she amazed us when she would take the bus to her classes downtown only a few years ago! Your Mom always spoke so lovingly of her family. She was so proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments and loved becoming a Great Grandmother. Dee Dee would keep us updated as to when the new baby (ies) would be arriving. She was always so kind to our not so quiet boys. Dee Dee will be missed. Please let us know if we can be of any help to you. With Sympathy, Mindi and Tom
