Obituary of Isabelle Bailey
BAILEY, Isabelle Emaline
Life long member of St. John's York Mills Anglican Church and the Community of Highland Crescent
On Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Castleview Wychwood Towers. Isabelle, loving wife of the late John Arnold Bailey. Cherished mother of Beverley Joyce Bailey and Philip John (Barbara) Bailey. Grandmother of Douglas, Joy-Anne, Gregory, Adelle, Bettina, John-Scott, and great-grandmother of Shale. Dear aunt to Caroline, Robert, Carol, Rich, Ross, Vernon and Rita. Those who knew Isabelle were taken by her energy and amazed by her strength. We will always remember her smile and all the good times singing, dancing and laughing. Isabelle was a real people-person and always practiced being good to both thy neighbor and strangers alike. She adapted gracefully to the many changes in her long, healthy and energetic life. We are grateful for her wisdom and kindness. We promise to be 'good to our neighbour' and 'accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and don't mess with Mr.-in-between'. Thank you for your love, your beauty, your creativity, your patience, your presence and your time, 98 meaningful years. A special thank you to all the team members on the sixth floor at Castleview Wychwood Towers. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. from ST. JOHN'S YORK MILLS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 19 Don Ridge Drive with interment to follow in the churchyard. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
