To Jim, Vicki and the entire Parrish family: Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your dear father and grandfather Don. May your gratitude for his long accomplished life and all that he has meant to you over the years bring solace as you mourn his loss. I also recently lost my father (Claude) and it was especially poignant for me to notice that Don and my Dad were both born in 1922. Peace be with you. Rest eternal grant unto him O Lord And may light perpetual shine upon him

Dear Jim and Family; Please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. Jim, you have been our doctor for many years and we enjoyed the short stories that you would relate to us about your mom and dad, your caring and concern for them was very evident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. We hope to pay our respects on Thursday evening. Sincerely, David and Kris Bushell

Helen and Hollis Hiscock posted a condolence

Many afternoons, Eleanor, Don and Hollis gathered around their coffee table in their living room and celebrated the Holy Communion. It was part of their worship tradition, which connected them with their Parish of St. John's York Mills and through their coffee table/altar to their God. We shared many other memories - concerts, family meal, men's dinners, etc., but gathering for worship in their living room brought 'earth and heaven' together in a spiritual way. Helen and I will remember the family in our private prayers, and this Sunday Hollis will include Don in our public prayers at St. John's Rockwood.

Jim, I'm sorry I was not able to come to your Dad's funeral. Steve said that you gave a superb speech, both in content and in style, in memory of your father. I want to express my condolences to you and Vicki, and to James and Kristine. MY thoughts are with you during this sad time. Anne
