I will miss your dry amusing wit and smile at the squash club. We were just getting to the point where we could start playing more regularly. You will be remembered when I go out to play this season. Wayne

I first met Frank in 1972 when he worked for Bill McCracken in the College Developmental programs. I had just started work in 1972 as a clerk in the T.I.P.T. Division at Centennial at the Ashtonbee Campus. Frank always had a smile on his face and was the most laid back teacher I knew. His dedication to his students was obvious and respected and, I've never met a person who didn't like Frank. I still remember a memo that Bill sent Frank in 1972. I think it was the shortest memo ever written by someone at the college. All it said was "Frank, get a hair cut, Bill." Frank laughed when he got it. And yep, he did get a hair cut. Well, a little hair trim. A wonderful individual. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Karen Houston (Smith in 1972)and from Peter Kelly, a retired professor from Centennial.

As a student at Centennial College in the 70's I would run into Frank in the hallways as he was teaching there at the time. Our family was so big, yet so close as everyone knows. I thought I was so cool as I knew one of the teachers. I can still vision his tall figure. I always thought that he loved teaching and I am sure his students benefited from that. It is a difficult time for the Cherry family as so few Aunts and Uncles remain. And, many cousins are no longer with us as well. I regret that I didn't make it to the 2010 family re-union but I understand that Frank, being the trooper that he is, was there smiling. He will be missed.
