Please accept our sincerest condolences on the paasing of Mr.McLeese. He was a true gentleman and a great mentor. When he moved to Heathcote, I don't think the locals knew what to think of a man of his stature. However, it didn't take long to realize how genuine and sincere he was. Sandra and I were so proud when he patronized our store in Heathcote and later in Thornbury. Mr McLeese was always encouraging and always full of praise, something we never forget. Our thoughts are with the family.

For Rob McLeese I haven't seen you for a while but over the years you introduced me to your Father on a number of occasions. Even though he had experienced a full and wonderful life you only have one Dad and you were very fortunate to have the memories of his energy and interests with you for so long. I'm sorry that you've lost him but treasure all that experience he passed on to you over your lifetime. Thinking of you and your family, Doug Robson

Dear Dr. McLeese, I was so sorry to hear of Willis' passing. I attended the lovely service today and thought that Robbie did a superb eulogy for his dad. He was very fortunate to have had his father for so many years and to have worked with him on many ventures. I'm sure my mom & dad (Peggie & Richard) will be sharing a drink in heaven today with Willis. Again, my sincere condolences. Yours very truly, Peter Smith

Dear Mrs. McLeese, Rob and family. I was so saddened to hear of Mr. McLeese's passing. I must say I was astounded to read his age--he was always so young at heart and vibrant. It is hard to believe his voice--that he gave to so many, and to so many endeavours and causes, has been silenced. I do have very fond memories of him as I grew up in the Bankes family--including the fabulous Christmas dinners he/you hosted. I recall his ever-smiling face and being a great raconteur. I recall the smell of cigars! I remember him being a doting father and being very kind to the Bankes family kids. I remember him as a great life-long friend to my Mom and Dad. I have enjoyed reading the many notices to learn more about his many achievements. He was larger than life in so many ways, and was an example to us all--of what we can achieve, even if we start out with relatively little. My sincere condolences to you all. You will miss him terribly I know. Leslie

Rob I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I thoroughly enjoyed my professional involvement with him in the latter part of his very long business career. He always had a sharp mind and asked penetrating questions The last time I actually spoke to him was at the Burgundy Christmas reception 3 or 4 years ago with your Mom . They were probably the oldest couple in attendance but there they were .....involved as always. A wonderful life well lived . His picture says it all ...energetic,enthusiastic and above all engaged. Condolences to you and your family. Dean Levitt

To Adelaide, Rob, Rosemary, Stephen, Geoffrey, and Paul Willis Mcleese was like a mentor to my Grandfather Joe. Grandpa Joe has told me countless stories of Willis over the years. I was in awe of this man. He accomplished so much. It was an honour to have known someone like Willis. Someone who was able to find so much joy in his work, and to give so much to others. All the best to the Mcleese Clan. Lots of Love, Jeremy Hill

Dear Rob, My condolences to you and your family on the loss of a great leader and mentor. I had much respect and admiration for how your father never let anyone define for him who he was. He was his own man. Best personal regards, Lorne.
