Dear Liz, Cathy, & Pat, First of all my thanks for calling my Mom, Kay Frost to let us know of your Mom's passing. We just returned from Phoenix this weekend to receive your voice message. We had flown down for a family reunion. It was the first time we had all been together since Mom's 90th. Please accept our sincere condolences to all of the family in your loss. As my Dad (Ted Frost's first cousin) we have fond memories of Myrl at family parties with your Dad as well. Both Mom and I shared Christmas cards with your Mom and we want you to know how much she will be missed. May the wonderful memories that you shared sustain you now and in the future. Sincerely, Kay Frost & Joanne Johnson

Dear Liz, Cathy and Patricia: I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom, "Auntie Myrl" as she will afectionately be remembered by me and my family. It has saddened me deeply to realize that she is gone, and that I have not seen any of you cousins since the passing of Uncle Jim many years ago. I hope that you know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families during this difficult time, and that I sincerely hope that we can all remember the many good times that we shared with your Mom. She always treated me well, shared her great sense of humour and hospitality, and made us feel welcome in your home many times over the years. I will be thinking of you all over the coming days and remembering her fondly - she was truly a great lady and an inspiration to us all. Yours truly, Drew M. Allen.

Dear Liz, Cathy, and Pat, I don't know any of your addresses, so am sending you my sincere condolences through the funeral home. I was so sorry to hear of the death of your mother, and immediately thought about how far back our families' friendship goes. Your grandmother, Roxie (Wilson) Wagar, and my mother, Dorothy (West) Pettinger went to school together in Campbellford, and I well remember hearing of the fun times and scrapes they got into together, along with the third member of their trio, Muriel Kingston. As the years progressed, Roxie kept my mom up-to-date on Myrl's life and in fact, I remember as a little girl, attending Myrl's trousseau tea and wedding. Well the years marched on, and when Myrl found out that we had moved to Port Perry a few years ago, she came up to see my mother, and together they talked about old times in Campbellford. My sincere sympathy to you all. "God gave us memories so that we may have roses in December." Sincerely, Jane Pettinger

Dear Liz, Cathy and Pat, Words cannot express how devastated I am to hear of your mom's passing. ( I heard from our mutual friend, Ruth Schott). Your mom and I grew up together in Selkirk, and shared many years of wondrful times and memories. We spent all our time together , especially during our high school days, and I must say that we got into our share of trouble, with our mutual taste for pranks, etc. Myrl's mom and dad were like a second family for me, when her dad was the bank manager at the bank in Selkirk. I spent so much time with your mom and her family for meals, etc. I was a bridesmaid at your mom and dad's wedding, and I was sad to know that I wouldnt be seeing her as often. We corresponded many times throughout the years , and sent pictures back and forth of our families. She was so proud of her girls and grandchildren. Sh did not mention or even hint to me , that she had been ill. I am stil so shocked, and saddened. Please know that I would love to hear from any one of you, and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. Cherish your memories of her, as will I.
