Aunt Marg was always a part of my life. She lived with my family when I was very young. Right up to the present I had to listen to many little stories that happened during that time, like when I ate the middle out of a cake Marg had just baked. Aunt Marg and her late husband, my Uncle Orland, bought a house very close to us in north Leaside. Uncle Orland always had a hearty hand shake for me with a dollar discretely passed from hand to hand. And then there was Christmas. Nothing was ever touched under the tree until Aunt Marg and Uncle Orland arrived. What glorious agony that wait was for a little boy. Hockey!! Marg loved it. I saw the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup live at "The Gardens" with, you guessed it, Aunt Marg. What an amazing memory.
I will always remember her with great love and fondness.

I met Margaret when I started at CWC in 1956. We worked in different departments but met in the cafeteria for lunch most days. She was a wonderful influence and would offer help when I was puzzled by some things at work. I visited her in her home and remember the most wonderful living room...Wedgewood blue and white. I was around 24 at the time and thought it was the most sophisticated room I had ever seen. I have thought about Margaret and others that I worked with there over the years. It was a great place to work and I stayed for 7 years. I was Secretary for Donald Grant, the General Works Manager. My condolences to the family
