Dear Paul, Laura, Mr and Mrs Moore, I only learned of Mary's passing today and I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear of this dreadful loss. I can see from her picture that she hadn't changed at all from how I remember her from her late teens, early twenties. I remember her laugh, listening to her music in the basement, hearing her cool stories. You must miss her terribly and my heart aches for you. Susan xoxox

Dear Anne, Paul James and Family, My heart aches for you and all of those who loved and supported Mary in her life combating depression. I don't know your pain, but can imagine the intense grief and other emotions that you are likely struggling with right now. My hope for you as you pass through the days, weeks and months ahead, that you find the love and support of your family & friends, and those who admire and care for you from afar, and that peace will fill your mind and a renewed love will fill your hearts in the memories and spirit of the best of Mary. Someone I love lives with severe depression and I know first-hand the trials, tribulations and occasional triumphs of being the pillar, coach and cheerleader; roles I suspect you have both played for a very long time. I share this as an old pal who wants you to know that I do understand part of your story and if I can ever be a support to you, I would be honoured. Given it is Remembrance Day, I will also share my moment of silence for Mary, who fought her own war. With Love and Respect, Sharon Flashford

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Mary's passing. She is a huge part of my Toronto memories and the Canadian Opera Company. Mary taught me to laugh out loud and smile everyday! We shared great times together in the subscription office. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Love Tami

My deepest sympathies to Mary's family and friends. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. Just to think of Mary, though, makes me smile. She rocked the booking office of International Top Models with laughter and sauciness and she rocked my house with laughter for many years, once a week, as my bridge partner where we prevailed over our opponents. My son remembers the laughter, and the ginger ale, and I remember a good friend.

Sincere sympathy to the Moore family. I had the pleasure of attending elementary school with Mary at the Winnipeg Convent of the Sacred Heart. She was lots of fun to be around - maybe even slightly mischievous I was sorry when the family moved to Toronto and always hoped that maybe we might just bump into each other somewhere. Condolences to those who have lost this daughter, sister, cousin and friend. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Barbara Herriot-Miller Winnipeg

I always loved that wonderful smile of yours, Mary. It not only lit up the room, but everyone else would find themselves grinning as well. So glad that we reconnected a few years ago, but I'm so sorry it wasn't years before that. Say a huge hello to my Mom, Dad and our Gran Moore, please. Rest in Peace, sweet Cousin. You will be loved and missed always by your family and friends. Love, Marni & Marcel Chartier
