Jim When I last saw Judy at Mt. Sinai shortly before we left for France, I knew I had said goodbye to my oldest and dearest friend. We were therefore not surprised but deeply saddened when our son Simon called us to tell us that she had finally died. Over the last 55 years we shared in Judy's joys and sorrows; the birth of her beautiful daughter Isa, her marriage to Jeremy Sams and to you, the long days and nights in Naples at her place on the beach, the singing of songs at Gitchie in Muskoka, and for many years the Jack Harman memorial lunch. I was a bridesmaid at all her weddings and sang descant to all her songs. We will remember her as she was: lovely, loving, and totally herself. I would like to express my sympathy to Judith's family. I am a part of the "Snowies" internet recipe group in the GTA, that Judith has belonged to almost since it's inception. I was very saddened to see that Judith has passed away. Although she wasn't a very vocal member of our group, she had something of import to share when she did post. She was a valued member of our group, and she will be missed. RIP Judith. With love from Angie, and the rest of the Snowies

Dear Jim and Isanna, From all of us, our condolences. Judith was a remarkable woman. In the three years Jules spent with the Food Gang, Judith introduced a curious youngster to the arts of the table, She inspired, taught, challenged, and hugged. Her gatherings were about far more than food; they made his world a larger and more exciting place. Judith will always be remembered with gratitude by each of us, not only when we cook her recipes or refer to superior behaviour as "Borackian Manners", but whenever we gather to enjoy the warmth and pleasures of a special dinner. We are fortunate to have known her. The Pelletiers (Food Gang member Jules; Denis and Kathleen)

Dear Jim and Isanna. When I awoke early on Saturday I reached for the Globe and Mail and as I often do perused the death notices. I was shocked and saddened when I read about Judith's passing. What a wonderful women she was - wife, mother, golfer and always a cherished friend. Having lost my dear wife Sheila last year I can understand the sorrow you and her family are experiencing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I will send a donation to Mount Sinai in Judith's memory. If I can help you in any way please call me. Larry
