Wayne and Jeff's family; I have been trying to re-connect with Jeffrey for about ten years. I lost touch with Jeff when he left Canada for Australia. For the last 10 years I have been searching on the internet looking in Australian phone directories and more recently on Face Book and LinkedIn. Today I tried a different Google search "Jeff Bond, Canada and Australia". When I saw the search results I was elated having finally found him. Unfortunately I was quickly saddened when I realized I had found Jeff's obituary. I met Jeffrey around 1982 in Toronto and stayed in touch until he made the decision to start a new life in Australia. Jeffrey made such an impression on me, I never forgot about him after he left Canada and always thought we would re-connect. Wayne, I hope your pain is becoming more bearable and that the days ahead are enjoyable for you. I would welcome an email from you. (norman.kennedy@rogers.com)
Respectfully yours, Norman.

I am so sad you have gone. We had so many fun times together, notably one lunch at my house that went on for about eight hours! You were a great boss, you taught me so much, both work and life related and always made me laugh at your so "Jeff-like" mannerisms. When I spoke to you in Canada, you sounded so sad and accepting of your fate. To me, it just seemed so unfair that such a wonderful person should leave us so quickly. I wish your family and friends my condolences. Love Lou.

Dear Jeff, I have very fond memories of the time we worked together at AUSTAR. I learned a lot from you and you were always happy to answer my questions, go for a chat, and have a coffee or a glass of wine. All those work trips for the Telstra project would not have been the same without you! You always knew what was going on and made work fun. I hope you are resting peacefully. Love Fern

Jeff, I have been missing you so much since I came home. Thankyou for the 15 years you shared with me in Australia. I will never forget the good times we had together and all the things we did like buying a farm, setting up a business, me bringing home pets and fearing you would get angry, but you didn't. It was like we were joined at the hip the way always went out together, went on trips together (some madcap ones). As sensible as you always were there was always the boy inside that never left your outgoing, adventurous personality. There will never be another as great as Jeff Bond With Love

My sympathies to the Bond family, Sandra, Linda and Karen. As you know, Jeff was a close neighbour of the Shecters' for many years on Sawley Drive, in North York. He was a kind, caring, intelligent person as well as a great babysitter. I have nice memories of him. May you all as well. Take care, Cindy Taraday

Dear Sandra, Linda & Family, On behalf of my entire family I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your dear brother Jeff. It has been many years since I have seen you guys but I think of you often, have fond memories from our childhood and hold a special place for you guys in my heart. I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Jeff's passing today. As I recall from my childhood, Jeff was a very kind and gentle soul - someone who, as a young boy when we lived in the same neighborhood, I could really look up to and admire. With his great disposition, smarts, good looks and charming personality I am sure he accomplished many great things in his life. May his soul rest in peace. I want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Wishing you lots of love and only good things going forward. God bless. Sincerely, Stuart Shecter & Family
