A vociferous advocate of rural issues, he more than once went all the way to Queen's Park on behalf of his constituents. In a lifetime career as a tool and die maker, he remained continually eager or learn every facet of the trade in order to do the best job possible. He also remained involved in the political landscape throughout his life and contributed many times in many ways and in any way he could to the causes he believed in. He loved his family strongly and was supportive of their endeavours, knowing they could rely on the lessons he had imparted and could fall back on him if needed. A service will be held at HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Davisville Avenue) on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11 o'clock.
