Obituary of Hilde Richter
Hilde Richter was born in a small German village named Bergdorf, near Odessa, Ukraine. She survived World War II to shape a new life as the 2nd female dentist to graduate from the University of Toronto. During these early years in Canada she also created a family with her husband Edmund Richter, who passed away in 1993. Hilde died peacefully in her 85th year at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada. She is survived by her two children, Alexander Charles Richter, Susan Rose Richter and daughters-in-law Julia Ann Richter and Jennifer 'Moxie' Moxin. Hilde was a loving 'Oma' to her two grandchildren Isabella Rose Richter and Olivia Grace Richter. She lived her life with dignity, passion and a fierce yet loving energy that touched everyone she encountered. Hilde - no one thought there was a fight you could ever lose. You go to glory with our thoughts, prayers and admiration. Please watch over us. We miss you so much.
