I have known Bev for about sixteen years, but when we met, there was that sense of immediate recognition and friendship, true sisters in Christ. What I loved most about her were her eyes, sparkling with humour and intelligence. Over the years I have seen Bev continue to grow as a woman, grappling with old issues, rejoice in her Lord daily, loyally encouraging friend and family alike, and offering whatever help she had to give. I will miss her, but know we will meet again on the other side.

I will miss the mischievous little-girl aspect of Bev, the most. I'm glad she was able to teach me how to eat lobster, properly. I am also glad that she was with her family and at peace in the last couple of days of her life. My thoughts are with you, Jan, at this time of both joy and sorrow. I wish I could be there to celebrate Beverley's life, and a celebration it should be.

Jan, you have excelled yourself in your care for your Mom. May God bless you for your patience, thoughtfulness, time, and commitment to the best of care for her. You have always been a special and loved daughter to your Mom. Rachel and Julia, you have been a wonderful support to your Mom and Grandma who loved you dearly and always spoke so highly of you. May God bless you all, and comfort you with the comfort which only the God of all comfort can give. I am so gratefu for many wonderful memories of times spent with Bev - at 199 Alexandra Blvd., Greeycroft, and also many hours of praying together. Love, Aunt Lue (cousin of Bev) Uncle Ralph joins me in my condolences.

Bev was the dearest heart. Her love for Jesus was so apparent. I shall miss her engaging wit, her deep spiritual insights, and her generous heart. She always made time for me and enthusiastically shared the treasures which the Lord imparted to her. She was a loyal and sincere friend. And now she is sitting at the feet of Jesus and she is delighting in Him and He in her. I hope she is eating lots of sushi and staying up on the soccer teams. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Bev was a very special friend to me for many years. She opened her heart and home to me, and later to my family, and gave generously of her thoughts and prayers, as well as cups of tea and meals. I am grateful and honoured to have known Bev, and chose her as my matron of honour at my wedding. She was a stout hearted woman, and a deep hearted Christian. She endured many emotional hardships in her life, and taught me much that helped me to endure my own. I am happy that she is at rest at last. My heart goes out to her family at this time.
