Obituary of Frank Canzi
CANZI, Frank P.Eng. Master Eng. Ontario Hydro, Member of Knights of Columbus After a brief illness, Frank passed away peacefully on April 1, 2010 at Mount Sinai Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife, Mary, and beloved husband of Donna (McKinnon) for 29 years. Survived by his 4 children Gerry, Martha (Paul) Forbes, Ed and Tom (Marlene) and one brother Jim (Lynne). Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and one on the way plus many nieces and nephews. Frank is reunited with his mother Mafalda and father Francis, wife Mary and brother Alex. Frank was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus PGK DD PFN an a member of the Serra Club. He had a strong faith in God. He was a volunteer for many charities and also donated money over the years to these. Frank was a sports enthusiast, played soccer in his younger days and golf. He loved travelling and in later years Cuba was his passion. A special thanks to Dr. Stewart and his nursing staff for their kindness and compassion. Also the hospital chaplain. Frank lived a long and full life. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5. Funeral mass will be held in HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 354 St. Clair Avenue West on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Reception details will be announced in church.
