Obituary of Peter Sugden

Born in London, England May 4, 1933. On Friday, March 26, 2010, at Toronto General Hospital, Peter passed away with his wife and friends by his side, after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his beloved wife Lynne. Peter will be remembered by family and friends for his talent and passion for music. Early in his career, Peter enjoyed participating in the Toronto Jazz Scene; and composed and recorded in the field of classical dance. He was a retired church organist, both in Toronto and, earlier, in England. More recently he was the accompanist for the Boy's Choir at Royal St. George's College and for the Toronto Police Association Male Chorus. A service to celebrate Peter's life will take place in ROYAL ST. GEORGE'S COLLEGE CHAPEL, 120 Howland Avenue, Toronto on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., followed by refreshments in Ketchum Hall. Thanks to the doctors and teams at Toronto General Hospital who made such a tremendous effort to save Peter's life.
