RUSSELL, Stanley Terry
Peacefully with family members at his side at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - K-Wing on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, Stan Russell in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Barbara and predeceased by his first wife Peggy. Loved father of Diane and Gary Wilmott of Bruce Mines and Terry and Julie Russell of Sutton. Cherished grandfather of Glen and Dee, Jacqueline, Roger and Wendy, Joy and Steve, Christopher and Judy and Clinton and Pamela. Survived by loving great-grandchildren Hope, Quincy, Brennan, Juliana and Sofia. Dear brother of Frank Russell and predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Stan was an avid member of the Broadlands Community Centre and the Jubilee United Church and was a veteran of World War II R.C.A.F. 401 RAM Squadron. A special thank you to the staff of Sunnybrook 'L' and 'K' Wings for their compassion and care as well as his private care workers. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
