Dear Barbara: I want to join your friends in expressing sympathy on the death of your mother in her 101st year. I read with appreciation the notice of her death in The Globe and Mail. What a wonderful and full life she had! I remember meeting her several times many years ago and I know how important she was to you and your sisters. You have only one mother and I know this will be for you a bitter-sweet time. Barbara joins me in assuring you of our thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your mother and celebrate her life. God Bless. Walter

Dear Barb & Adam, My sincerest sympathies Barbara, upon the death of your mother. While I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I certainly got a sense of her from the obituary......which I'm sure you wrote!! My best to the both of you, Maureen

Dear Barbara and Family, I always remember my mother (Doris Bradshaw) talking about how wonderful you mother was. They of course spent much time at Yorkminister Park together and at Christie Gardens. When Randy was working for you we heard many more stories about your Mum through my mother. You are all very fortunate to have had your mum in your lives for such a long time. May all the joys and adventures with your Mum stay with you all forever. I am sure tomorrow will be full of laughter and thanks for such a fabulous Mother. Sincerely, Nancy and Randy Gordon (Ottawa)

Dear Nancy and Barbara: Julie, Christopher and I want you to know how saddened we were to learn this morning of your Mother's passing. What a flow of history she lived through! From the beginning of the Great War to the present! Very few people have done that. Please accept our sympathy at this difficult time. Sincerely, Julie, Christopher and Don

It was a pleasure teaching with Jean for a number of years in the Business Department at Collingwood Collegiate in the late 60's and early 70's. She acted as a mentor to myself and others, new teachers at that time. I know how important family was to Jean. I am sorry for your loss.
