Obituary of Edward Becktel

BECKTEL, Edward Hansuld "Ed" Passed away peacefully at Toronto on Monday, September 10, 2007 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Hazel. Loved father of Susan (Ron Walmer), Nancy Pretty, Louise (Charlie DeHaseth), Lee (Rob Symons), Doug, and Christine C. Dear grandfather of Christy Glencross, Lindsay, Bradley, Gregory and Neal. Special uncle of Leonard (Lynn) and Hal (Brenda). Ed served in W.W.II. RCAF and was a graduate of U. of T. Pharmacy. Pharmacist for 40 years at Eringate Drugs, Etobicoke. Past President of Don Mills Kiwanis Club. A service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Saturday, September 15th at one o'clock followed by a reception in the Leaside Room of the funeral home.
