I was very sorry to hear about Virginia. I've known her since she joined the Provincial Ladies Auxiliary and I worked for the Provincial Council at that time. What a wonderful person she was, always helping others, and still sharp as ever, right to the last. It was a privilege to know her and I will certainly miss her. Mr. Burns and family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother Virginia. I was one of the paramedics who attended Mrs. Burns home on January 10th. In gathering your mothers information, I learned of her wonderful life and caring nature, as well as her dedication as a volunteer at the Hospital for Sick Children, and their Scouting program. Being a former Scouter myself, I know the special bond this organization brings to its volunteers and participants. As a life member, Virginia made a difference in several young lives as they grew up through scouting, for this you should all be very proud. Hold onto the great memories of Virginia and keep her close in your hearts, she'll continue to look over you and keep you all safe from harm. Respectfully, Glen Gillies Paramedic - Toronto EMS
