Please accept our deepest sympathy upon the death of Tom. Bob and I hope that the magic of your many happy memories will somehow help to heal your grieving hearts. We feel lucky to have been with Tom many times during the 70's and 80's. Tom was a perfect mentor for Bob and always had wise advice for the young actuary! The best advice, that I recall, was that a husband should always take his wife away for an annual holiday --- no kids allowed!!! Wishing you all lots of love and huge amounts of strength as you cope with life without Tom. With fond memories, Celia Rasmussen

Rose and Ron Richardson and their granddaughters, Melissa and Jennifer, wish to express our deepest sympathy to the brothers and sisters of the Jarvis family at the loss of a dear father and to Mrs. Jarvis in this time of remembrance. We knew Mr. Jarvis for only a relatively short time in his latter years, but found him to be a warm and friendly man with a wonderful sense of humour and outlook on life. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Our deepest sympathy and love to all of the Jarvis family. As neighbor and friend he was truly a pillar of strength by example and word to all of us on Edgar Avenue. He worked very hard for Rosedale United Church (Mom too, of course). It was a privilege and you felt great just to walk along beside the Jarvis'es on the way to church. May he rest in peace having left this world a better place. May God's comfort and peace be with you. With our love, Vi and Bob Crone.

I was very sad to learn of the passing of Mr. Jarvis and wanted to express my deepest sympathy to all of the family, especially his lovely wife and my former room mate, Julie. I remember Julie speaking of her dad in such loving terms and having the occasion to spend some time with the family at the cottage. It seemed to be a place filled with wonderful family times and I hope at this difficult time you can recall both the memories and the feelings. The garden was Mr. Jarvis' pride and joy. His garden was beautiful and so lovingly cared for. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that God is now taking loving care of your dear husband, father, grandfather.
