Dear Mary Lou and Family, My deepest sympathy to you all during this very sad time. I will always remember Lawrence fondly and as a good friend. Although circumstance had it that we seemed to connect less over the years I thoroughly enjoyed his company. We always laughed and exchanged stories in Southampton, our common meeting ground. When one summer, shortly after the passing of Dave Salisbury, he told me he too was struggling with cancer... I was amazed at his positive outlook and how brave he seemed. I know his battle was long and have heard his spirit remained strong. We have all been lucky to know such a good man and a true hero! With much sympathy to his loved ones and support system, Lisanne O'Leary

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the Sinclair family at the loss of Lawrence. Although I have not had the pleasure of knowing Lawrence, I have known Mary Lou for more than twenty-five years. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Giuliana and Patrick, both very fine young people. Sincerely, Jim Martin.

Mary Lou, Giuliana, Patrick and the Sinclair family, we are really heartbroken over the loss of Lawrence. i think what is really tough is thinking about how hard he fought. we are so thankful we did get to see him Tues night. he was heavily sedated, and we don't know if he knew we were there. one of my(Lucy's) first memory of him was studying in Thode library at McMaster. he always studied in the same place. there was a series of cubicles near the centre of the upstairs library, and I was sure to find him there studying. i also remembering seeing him at a Engineering pub at McMaster. when I saw him I thought, wow Lawrence does party. i also remember a special time when Patrick was just a baby. we had gone to Rochester to celebrate Tom and Sharon's wedding. at the reception in the dining hall, Lawrence was playing all night with Patrick. he would toss him in the air and laugh. i remember Giuliana's first birthday party we celebrated in your back yard at your first house. the Chiarella's and Sinclairs were both there. it was a great party. i will end here- we will see you soon the Di Nunzio family

Aunt Joan, Uncle Bob & Family, Please know that my thoughts are with you, with your loss. How I wish time could reverse and I would have known Lawrence. I read so much love in his obituary. How lucky for Lawrence and how lucky for you his family to have had this time to share. I would love to hear some stories to know my cousin. Thinking of you. Val
