Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Helen. I have had the pleasure of knowing Helen for over ten years now, and always found her to be a warm, caring, and most of all giving person, who loved her family and friends very much. She's and extraordinary person who is dearly missed.

Helen worked for me father for a number of years in Church House, and I have many, many fond memories of her. I can remember every Christmas my father and mother always shopping for the "perfect" gift for Helen (and Doris and Norma), as they said it was really these ladies that made Church House run like Swiss clock work. In return every year, just before Christmas, dad would always bring home the nicest wrapped gifts I had ever seen, and there was always a gift for me, and each of my siblings. You knew these gifts where not just picked quickly out of a catalog, or off a shelf without concern, but that each one was given serious consideration in not just the choosing, but also in the wrapping. It was almost a shame to unwrap any gift from Helen, as it was done to perfection, like everything in her life that she took on. However as a child curiosity always gets the best of you, and each year I was always happy to receive a lovely gift, along with a hand written card. Every time I called my father at work, Helen always knew my voice, and no meeting was too important for Helen not to interrupt my father. She had a way of making you feel special each and every time you either spoke with her, or were in her presence. She was a true lady, and will be sadly missed on this earth. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Robert Scott

Dear Janet and Dean, We were so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. In our memories Helen epitomized the "perfect lady". She was always smartly coiffed, organized and in control at all times. We are glad that we got to meet you both just a few weeks ago when you visited the city. Our Thoughts are with you, Bonnie & Richard Byford

Dear Dean, Janet and Anne, I liked Helen very much and I am sorry to see her go. I thought that she had quite the sly wit and, boy, did she doll up the front passenger seat of a convertible. My condolences to you. Brian Dourley
