Obituary of Harry Smith

SMITH, Dr. Harry Austin White BA, MD, FRCPC Peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Smith. Loving father of David (Stephanie), Diane (Roy), Susan (Kevin) and Paul (Tammy). Dear grandfather of Bradley, Matthew, Scott, Blake, Brandon, Celidah, Jordan and Rebecca. Great-grandfather to Dylan, Hannah, Austin and Charlee. Austin worked for the Confederation Life Insurance Company for 35 years, retiring in 1987 at age 70 as Medical Vice President for Canada. He was also on the Outpatient Cardiology Staff of the Toronto Western Hospital for many years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, October 23 from noon until the time of the service in the chapel at one o'clock.
