To all of Tony's friends and family, please accept my sincere condolences in his passing. Tony's legacy will live on in many ways and all who knew Tony, please be enriched and take comfort in your memories of such a great man. I personally enjoyed many of my chats on numerous topics with Tony and was lucky enough to play golf with Tony once (he creamed me - he was a very good golfer but always had a kind word to share). Warmest wishes to all who were lucky enough to have met and spent some time with him.

In the past several days my thoughts have been with you all, and often times a memory of Tony making us smile and laugh comes through and makes me smile yet again. The King has left the building, but will forever be in our hearts. Robin Kratz. (Rodel)

Although you have never met me, I had the great pleasure of meeting Tony in Halifax, on 2 occasions, through our mutual friend Paddy Hynes. I enjoyed Tony’s wit along with his love for the game of golf. Paddy and Tony meant so much to each other. To all of Tony’s family and friends, I wish you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. Dear Deborah and Family, My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I have only the fondest memories of Tony, both from my childhood and as an adult. I remember visiting Tony's Mom's house and seeing his incredible beer bottle collection. And his love for music and "the King". I knew he was somebody really special. He took me to see my first ballet, "The Nutcracker". I still can visualize the theatre and can remember how special I felt to be able to go to such an event!! The second to last time I saw Tony was at my uncle Paddy's 50th birthday. WOW, what a time we had! It really meant a lot to me to be able to catch up with Tony and to walk down "memory lane". I consider myself very lucky to have been a part of such an amazing person's life. Sincerely, Melissa Hynes

Deborah and family, I am so sorry for your loss of such a great person. Although I had lost contact with Tony since grade school, I had the pleasure of seeing him at an OLPH reunion party 1-1/2 years ago and we had such a great conversation. I will always have such warm and fun memories of Tony from the old days and my thoughts and prayers are with you all now. Fondly, Elizabeth Heenan

I want to pass on my extreme condolences to the family and friends of Tony. I knew Tony all the way back to grade school at Canadian Martyrs and again at St. Mikes. He was a great person and it seem so unfair that he was taken at such a young age.

Tony, I am lucky to have met you in high school and in enjoying a long and fun friendship with you in the decades that have passed since our time at St. Mikes. Forgive me for being angry at fate that you have left us too soon. There were certainly more beers to be sampled, political discussions to be had and tides to be surfed.... and who is going to keep us apprised of the perils of bolshevism now? You are already missed and I would like to express my heartfelt condolences Deborah, your family and your friends. Mark Cheley
