Obituary of Michael Dinnick

DINNICK, Michael Anthony September 19, 1938 - September 2, 2009 Mike passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice, after a long illness. Survived by his wife of 47 years Judy, and his beloved children Lisa (James Brenzel), Peter (Candy) and Christopher (Tangerine). He will be missed by his grandchildren Max, Roslyn and Zoe Brenzel, Christopher and Charlie Dinnick and Thatcher Dinnick. Also survived by his brother Wilf (Brenda) Dinnick, Roslyn (David) Raish and Julia (Richard) Keeling. A graduate of St. Andrew's College ('57) and McGill University ('61), Mike lived for several years in Toronto before moving with his family to Nassau, where he made lifelong friends that sustained him until the end of his life. An avid tennis player, golfer and lover of reading, he was an optimist who always saw the best in people. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9. Private family interment.
