Dear Mrs. Pinto (Pat), Johnny, Mary, Liz and Meg I was so sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Pinto. I think back of the times on Lauderdale Drive and think of how much of my childhood was spent going back and forth between our two homes. Hearing the news about him made me want to go watch the video that Rob did for my 40th birthday when he went to your home to film you. I haven't watched it in 10 years. Meg, listening to those stories about the Beatles and the leg breaking incident brings back so many memories. I also remember riding in your station wagon and playing volkswagon, and also being the one to tell you that there wasn't any Santa Claus. Did you ever forgive me? Listening to Mr. Pinto (John) talk about my brothers coming to the door to see if he wanted to come out and cut the lawn made me laugh. As you know, my dad was not a gardener (he never even owned a lawnmower) so Rob & Lorne just loved helping Mr. Pinto in the garden. I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one and all I can say is that I hope your pain eases over time. I know you will have wonderful memories to look back upon. My thoughts are with you. Lots of love, Nancy
