Bobby, I am really sorry for your loss. My Dad and Marie-Paul had a lot of respect for your Dad and talked very fondly of him. He was an amazing man, so well rounded, and he had so many visions which he accomplished. Also, in a weird way, he was there as i was making my decision, through osmosis to enter the Advertising world over 20 years ago. No regrets! Take care of yourself. Linda

My thoughts are with you, he was quite the man. I always liked the story about the badges on his automobiles, "either pay me to advertise your brand or remove all of you logos!" A true media pioneer. Greg Gallop

I'll always remember the Col. as our family was his neighbour for many years. When i first met him was when my pony escaped we had gone away and one of my fathers men was to look after him when we arrived home my pony was gone i was just 7 years old and there was a massage left from the Col.saying my pony was at the farm.My father drove me over and there. He stood with a stern look.At lease to me it was we offered him money for the keep for 2 days and the Col.just looked at me and said Sherry you and your pony are allowed to ride on both farms under one condition as long as your on him then looked at my father with a smile. From that point on he would wave to me when he drove by our house when i was waiting for the school bus.

Dear Bobby, It is sad to loose such a friend of my father and our family, a mentor and a fine man. Every visit with him was a lesson to me in manners, responsibility and the respect for others. As a great Horse Guard, he commanded the respect of all who fought with him, learned from him, and soldiered with him in all his various rolls. He truly fitted the motto "Nulli Secundus"

We are sorry for your loss. We knew Bud over many years in the outdoor advertising business, and thanks to his impressive contacts, we enjoyed a successful Joint Venture together. Our best wishes to the family and sorry we unable to attend the service. p.s. I'm impressed we can use this new fangled 21st century media. As a pioneer of new media for the last half century, Bud would be pleased.

Dear Bobby and Charles, I'm so sorry to hear of Bud's death; he was a remarkable guy. He had such a style about him; he was always beautifully dressed, tanned and when he smiled at you he could light up your life. I owe him a great debt for giving me my start in advertising, a career which has given me a wonderful life and for which I will be forever grateful. My most heartfelt condolences go out to both of you. Yours, Rog

Bobbie & Charles, Please accept my sincerest condolences. As my office has probably mentioned, I am in Europe until Aug 12th. I’m glad I was able to see Bud before I left & that Jack Kenney & Robert McMartin could join us. We all sensed the end was approaching. More important, Bud was a trooper (literally & figuratively) to the end. He never lost his spirit & that is important. He will be missed by all of us. Archie
