Dear Paul and Elaine, Erin, Derek, Elaine and sons, Your mother (grandmother/great grandmother) was a special woman. The good memories will grow and after a while she will be remembered not just with sadness but with smiles and laughter as well. Hold on to those happy, special memories. Love, Barb and Gerry

I was so sorry to hear about Dorrie. It was an honor to have know her while I was at Rouge Valley Retirement Residence. She loved all of you so much and was always thrilled with your visits. I send my sincere condolences to all the family.

I wanted to pass on my condolences to all of you. I have many great memories of Aunt Dorrie. She always welcomed me with a hug and smile, and I always enjoyed the times I spent with her at the cottage over the years. Unfortunately my son Ryan will be having surgery that day so I will be unable to attend the funeral, however I wanted to let everyone know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Dorrie's passing and wanted to pass my sympathy on to you. Like Robin, I too have many fond memories of Aunt Dorrie at the cottage - and in my memories she always had a smile on her face and always welcomed us into the cottage. I will be out of town and unable to attend the funeral, but want you to know that I'll be thinking of you all.

I just wanted to send my condolences to everyone. I have many great memories of Aunt Dorthy at the cottage and picking her water lilies when ever we could. I know she was loved by all and will be greatly missed. I wish I was able to make it to the funeral but I know other members of my family will. I'll keep Aunt Dorthy in my thoughts and prayers along with all of you.
