I only have memories of Dorcas from the farthest reaches of my memory - flashes from my early childhood. I remember driving in a car with her in Markham. I remember that she was always happy, and kind, and I was comfortable around her. I think it was that feeling of comfort that is the strongest - the feeling that she was a good person and someone that I, as a child, could trust. I am sorry for her loss and can feel its sorrow in the deepest part of me.
