Dear Marg: I am thinking of you and praying that you will be comforted by the love of family and friends. I am so glad that you and Uncle Karl came to visit us in Atlanta. I will always treasure the time that we spent together having dinner, drinking wine, sharing stories and touring the World of Coke!

I will miss my real WW2 hero....Every time I watch any WW2 movie, which I do often, I always think of my uncle Carl and his gift of freedom he gave our family. The story he wrote just a few years back of his part in the South Pacific War makes me proud every time of think of it.....Along with my great father I was so graced in my life to have 4 uncles (Carl,John,Joe & Dick)who in their own business like ways molded my business success. I will miss you Karl

Back in my early days in the stock market business (cir 1990-92), Karl hosted a lunch and learn series that asked analysts and traders to show their trading tickets and prove that technical trading can add value. I remember my presentation vividly. The story was written up in the Financial Post thanks to Karl and I used it to get a few interviews and his efforts ultimately helped me along in my career. Thanks in part to Karl's efforts, I'm a much better analyst and are more thoughtful in my presentation of technical trading ideas on Berman's Call show on BNN. RIP my friend.
