Mike was a very good friend to me in my youth at Northlea and LHS. Even at that young age his wisdom, examples and standards inspired me to do better. To his family, my deepest condolences for a man that will last forever in my memories.

To the family of Michael; I was shocked and sadden to learn of Michael's sudden passing. Michael(Biggsy) was a great friend during my Leaside High School days. He always made me laugh and was quite the lady's man in LHS, unfortunatlely I had not been in touch with him since he was in London England, a very long time ago. My deepest sympathy to his brothers Tim and David and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with the Biggs Family. How deeply saddened we are of your passing Michael. You have raised four wonderful children that will miss you dearly as will all of your childhood friends, business acquaintances and friends you have met along the way. Although you are no longer with us, your memory remains. It has been many years since we last met, but Northlea Public School and the Leaside Memories remain so clear. Compassion for the loss experienced by all of Mike's loved ones... I knew Mike from LHS - He will be remembered as a strong, confident, fun person...I ran into him years later at Scotia Mcleod where I was working at the time - He was always warm and friendly - He left his unique imprint on this earth for sure! We were all very sad to hear the news of Michael's death. We send our well wishes and prayers and please always know that we are always available to lend a ear, shoulder or a hand! Michael was a great man, he, like all of us had obstacles to overcome and was working toward those goals. He was a very kind and caring man with a very generous heart.
