An elegant and noble person, a carrying and discreet aunt, Aunt Milka was someone you can always count on. She had a way with people, putting them at ease, making them feel loved and special. She was a person you can turn for advice and help, a wordy woman, a great traveler and fearless friend. We will miss her smile, her wisdom, her integrity. Rest In Peace. We love you Genadi, Mariana, John.

I will always think of Aunty Milka as someone who I knew for almost all my life. Our close relationship had a great impact on me, making me a strong and independent person, capable of surviving in difficult situations and making my dreams become reality.
When I was a child I had thought about her as a Princess from the Fairytales. She was living in a different world, speaking a different language, looking and behaving differently and I believed in her magic touch.
The frequent travelling adventures we embarked on together around Bulgaria, Greece, Canada and the United States are so vivid in my memory. Aunty Milka was always enthusiastic to visit new destinations and even places she had visited before and sometimes her enthusiasm was greater than mine especially when we had to climb the stairs to the next monument. She enjoyed shopping and accompanying her at the shops was really fun.
We had kept in close contact despite us living so far away from each other. She was always interested to know how Roumen, Stephanie, my father and people in Jablanitsa were going and what the weather was like in Australia.
Dear Aunty,
My family and I are so grateful for all your help and generosity. You will always be in our hearts as a model of a dedicated wife, professional and friend. You had a magic touch which changed our way of thinking and our lives.
We love you so much.
Milena, Roumen & Stephanie

Milka has always been an important and well respected member of the Genoff family. She was not only my brother's wife but also a beautiful woman and a very kind, enthusiastic, caring and treasured relative.
Milka and Wassil visits in Bulgaria were family and community events. Everyone was excited to greet and spend time with them. They always took the time to see and help relatives and friends. Their generous donations made the church in Jablanitsa one of the best maintained churches in Bulgaria.
R.I.P. Dear Milka. You will be missed by all of us.

We have very fond memories of Milka and her late husband Wassil for their true friendship. Our family were neighbours at East Moore lake in Haliburton for many wonderful years. We will always cherish the memories at the cottage and Christmas Open House. Just as Milka would always say to me "You Wonderful".
