My late brother in law Gunther was a lovely man, he loved hiswife, Gen, adored his daughter Robyn and his much beloved Granson Daniel. He was a good kind hearted man, and was always very kind to me. He also had a dry wit, which I appriciated. His was a great loss, and Gen, Robyn and Daniel were with him to the end. Always missed. "I cannot say, I will not say that he is gone! He is just away." Upon moving to an apt. from a house I had to give up my labrador pup to the Toronto Humane Society because dogs were not allowed. I was so sad. I remember Skipper licking my hand in the car during his last journey. Subsequently I decided to retrieve my dog. I went to claim him back at the Humane Society not informing them what I was doing. He looked sick and unhappy. I brought him home. He was acting strangely and snapping at me. I knew something was wrong. The reason for my story is that Gunter knew as soon as he saw the dog that it was the wrong dog. To spare my feelings he didn't tell me. It must have been "love"....what do you think? I did have to return this dog also.
