Joan, We remember Phyllis with much affection and are grateful for the time we shared with her. Her impact on the Ascension ACW and the Don Mills community was significant and often humbling. May the great gifts of strength, tenacity and humour that she gave you Joan, help you celebrate a life well lived Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Keith and your loved ones. (I, particularly, shall remain ever grateful to your Mom for helping me find my first "real" job, and introducing me to the ideal first boss... her daughter! c.)

Dear Joan and Keith: My father and Paul and I just wanted to send you our sincere condolences. Unfortunately we will not be able to be there in person but we wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your mother was a wonderful person. Unique in her strength and ideas. A wonderful quilter, fabulous cook and great neighbour. I always looked forward to your lunches when we went skiing on Saturday mornings! Your mother always packed the most awesome food!!! Take care and God bless. Paul, Carol James and Jeff Cribb

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Mother. Phyllis was a wonderful neighbour and friend and an inspiration to many of us. She faced many challenges and bore them with strength and fortitude. She was so happy to experience life to the fullest - I shall always remember the many beautiful quilts she crafted, the fine foods she lovingly prepared herself, the conversations, laughter and time spent together with both she and Doug, while raising our own young family in Don Mills. Farewell and God bless.
