O God of life, we turn to you because our lives have been touched by death. Renew our hope for the life which never ends. Help us remember, believing that the memories which now cause pain will be the vessels of tomorrow’s joy. Help us tell the stories which keep alive in our hearts and minds those whom we have loved and lost. Help us believe that their lives continue with you in that place we cannot see, where there is no more pain, no more sickness, no more crying, and no dying of any kind evermore. We ask it in the name of him who lived and died and lives forever, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen. You are in our prayers and we are thinking of you during this time of loss.
