Obituary of Ute Katharine Blake

UTE BLAKE March 19, 1943 - March 19, 2009 Survived by her husband of 43 years, H.J. (Jim) Blake, Q.C. of Toronto and Alliston, Ontario; son Sean (Lori) and grandson Finn of Hartford, Connecticut.; sister Gisela Flegal of Mansfield, Ontario; mother Alma Germann of Alliston, Ontario; and members of her extended family and friends. An honours graduate of the University of Toronto in languages and literature, Ute was Head of Languages in North York, acted as Secretary Treasurer for the Committee of Adjustment in Adjala, was Past President of the Volunteers at the AGO and supported the arts in general. Many thanks to the palliative care teams at Princess Margaret Hospital and the "Grace." Private funeral arrangements at the request of the deceased.
