Obituary of Margaret A. Canning

CANNING, Margaret A. Left today suddenly on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Marg will be sorely missed by sister Ruth and her husband Robert Reid, brother Robert and his wife Anne-Marie, and oldest and dearest friend Jean Orpwood. She was also dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews. Marg's love of books fostered her outstanding career as a librarian. Her quiet and unassuming nature belied a wonderful sense of humour and a very generous spirit. A memorial service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Friday, August 31st at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 175 Bloor St., E., Suite 700, North Tower, Toronto M4W 3R8, or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family
