Obituary of Barbara Gregory

Barbara Jane Gregory Born on May 9th, 1960 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Barbara died peacefully with her family by her side at Toronto General Hospital on February 2nd, 2009. She was the cherished youngest daughter of Marguerite Patricia and the late Bernard John Gregory and the beloved sister of Joanne Patricia (Linden), John William and Daniel Jason (Hazel). A world class athlete, scientist, musician and a lover of animals of every stripe, Barbara's kind and generous soul shone through her sparkling eyes full of life, laughter and love. We, her family and friends, will miss her dearly. The family wishes to thank her many devoted caregivers at home and her supporters at the ALS Society, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Sunnybrook ALS/Neuromuscular Clinic. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6th. A service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7th. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
