WHITE, Bernice Edith (nee Webber)
Passed away on Monday, February 2, 2009 after a brief, intense and valiant battle with cancer. Beloved wife for 44 years of Ross White. Loving mother of Amanda Walker of San Salvador, Bahamas and Michelle Jeans of Cambridge, Ontario. Dear grandmother of Ricardo and Aiden Walker and Timothy Jeans. Loving daughter of the late Russell and Dorothy Webber formerly of Fenelon Falls, Ontario. Dear sister of Madeline Van De Walker of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Joan Carter of Fredericton, New Brunswick and the late Faye Graham of Lindsay, Ontario. Aunt of Michael, Kimberly, Robert, Heather, Gregory, Jeffrey, Stephen, Paul, James and Adam. Great-aunt to eleven nieces and nephews. Now retired, Bernice was an active member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. She was a former officer and director of the Canadian Condominium Institute. Bernice was a well known artist for her North American landscape subjects and was a member of a number of artistic societies. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5. A service in the chapel will be held at 11 o'clock on Friday, February 6. As per Bernice's requested, if desired, donations to Doctors Without Borders (MSF Canada), 402-720 Spadina Avenue, Toronto M5S 2T9 would be appreciated.
