Obituary of Susan Doerr

Susan Elizabeth DoerrPeacefully, with her family at her side on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the age of 52. Beloved daughter of Ken and Dee Doerr, sister, sister-in-law and doting aunt to Sarah, Andrew, Allyson, Reese and Rachel Lester, and best friend to her beloved golden canine companion, Amy. Susan will be greatly missed by her many friends, family and loved ones. She was a life-long Torontonian and she loved and knew the city well. She was an embedded Ontarian, completely at home at the family cottage or paddling a canoe. She was an intense Canadian, proud of her country, intrigued by it's politics, and deeply committed to protecting it's natural beauty. She made lasting contributions at all these levels, at a time when it made, and will make, a real difference. A service will be held in TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2009.
