I only met Dr Soden once while she gave a talk at Dofasco Inc. on How are Words affect our DNA. I was not sure why I went but I later realized that I may have had a personal connection to Lesley. My mother had dated a gentleman who I believed might have been Lesley's father. His name was Jack Soden and was a good friend of the Marshall family from Hamilton. I did not realize how much of a an impact she made in the short period of time we had to communicate, but it was significant. I still have mental images of Lesley as I had participated in her presentation and it now makes me realize how important she is/was to the world. I do miss her even though we never got to communicate other than email. Lesley's passing is indeed a great loss to us all. Sincerely Carl French

I got to know Lesley through the Healing Journey program at Wellspring, Odette House in Toronto. We met early in 2008 and continued to do courses together the whole year. She went through some very trying times but handled them with great courage and strength. I always remember how beautiful she looked, no matter how difficult the treatment she was undergoing. Even when she was sick from chemotherapy, Her face shone with a quiet beauty. I will miss you very much, Lesley.
