The girls and their families are very saddened to hear of the loss of a super grandmother to Jessica and her siblings and a mother to Kim and a wife and best friend to Mr Donaldson. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We hope that all the great memories of Patricia will be a lasting gift to all that knew her and act as some comfort in the days ahead. We know she was a big fan of her grandchildren's sports and activities. We enjoyed having her with us at the Clarington ice hockey tournament in October and getting to know her a little bit. I knew Pat in 1960 or so...her brother Andy was my first teenage boyfriend...she was in my grade 10 class. I remember Pat was possibly one of the most beautiful girls attending Malvern Collegiate with huge, expressive eyes,a very kind demeanour, and wonderful sense of humour. My sincerest condolences.

Al, I was so sad to hear of the loss of your wife that I started to cry. As an outsider, it was obvious to me that the two of you had a friendship and marriage that was unparalleled. She appeared to be your soul-mate. You always spoke of her so fondly and lovingly. She seemed to be a woman of great charm and courage. After all, she put up with you for so many years! My condolences to your children and grandchildren. And for you Al, a big hug.. Heather

Through long-time friends Bob & Sandy Eaton, a couple of years ago I discovered the whereabouts of a former schoolmate - Patsy Stone. We'd always meant to get together to reminisce about earlier times, but never seemed to make a date ... and now it is too late. Let this be a reminder to all of us to not put off those things we're meant to do. Al and family, I am sorry for your loss, and sorrier still that Patsy and I did not reconnect.

It is with with great sadness that I write this note. I was not aware that my friend and neighbour was ill, if anything, I thought that she would continue on as strong as ever, whether in the city :) or next door, on park 3. On New Years my daughter Dayna and friends commandeered our cottage with one proviso that they say hi to Allan and Pat. We have fond memories of dinners at their home and ours. We will truly miss Pat and our prayers are with Allan and family. The " big place next door " will just never be the same. Our sincere condolences. Martin, Rose and family.

Al I was very sorry to read of your loss. I have fond memories of you and Pat based on our few years of knowing each other and several double dates of our youth in Victoria village and York Mills. The dances at Balmy Beach and the times we did know each other were another era. From other comments, and reports from your uncle when I saw him for optometrist services, I have always suspected that you had a good life. Brian
