Obituary of Maude Townshend - Carter

TOWNSHEND-CARTER, Maude Mary (née Berry) Belovéd wife of The Rev'd Philip Townshend-Carter. Maude passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19th 2007 at Thompson House, Toronto where she was tenderly cared for during her long illness. She was born April 20, 1920 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is survived by her husband, and stepsons Neil (Theresa) and Ian (Diana) and grandchildren, Richard, Alan and Rosemarie, and many friends. A Funeral Eucharist will be held in THE CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION, 33 Overland Drive, Don Mills M3C 2C3 (corner of Donway West) on Friday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Alzheimer Society (Metro Toronto), 2323 Yonge Street, Suite 500, Toronto M4P 2C9 or The Church of the Ascension would be appreciated.
