Dear Anne and family; My heartfelt condolences go to you and your family at such a sad time in your life. I will always remember Jerrys happy smiling face as we discussed our connection and especially when I told him of my memory of his father and that very small car that I couldnt understand how such a big man got himself into.I am so proud to have known him if only for a short time .My memories of having dinner with you and Jerry at your condo in Huntsville and meeting your daughter and grandchildren are dear to me. My husband Leslie passed away Aug.18/o7 so I know the hurt you are feeling. My memories are so precious to me as I know yours will be to you and that is what will help us along the way.We now live for our children and our grandchildren as our beloved husbands would want us to do. Bless you and your family. Your loving cousin Madeline

Anne. Thank you for making it possible for us to have a really warm hearted and fun lunch with you and Jerry a few weeks ago. For me it was truly special. We will miss Jerry's easy going company at the Y, his mischievous sense of humour and his unfailing interest in those lucky enough to be in his company. Hope to be seeing you in aquafit soon. Bill

I've known Jerry for about 60 years not as a personal friend of mine but as the best friend of my brother, Don. Over that time, I heard from them both and their wise and caring counsel. Jerry was one of those special people that we all should have in our lives. He had no agenda, no special or vested interest and no purpose except to respect me for myself. Jerry was a very positive person with direction and conviction and the highest ethical standards. He was a role model to be emulated. I will always be able to see him with his wonderful smile and feel his encouraging hand on my shoulder. Mostly, I thank him for being Don's special friend and I thank him for loving us all - family and friends. We'll be together again, in time, Jerry and I look forward to shaking your hand again.
