Obituary of Donald O'Brien

O'BRIEN, Donald It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald James O'Brien on Saturday, December 27th, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Yvonne for 55 years. He loved and will be missed deeply by his daughters Sharon and Carolyn, his sons-in-law, David Latter and Al Paterson and his grandchildren Michael, Scott, Alana, Rachel and Sarah. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Kathleen Slingsby.The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Michael's Hospital for their dedication and kindness during Don's illness.A funeral mass will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 at 10:30am at The FRANCISCAN CHURCH OF ST. BONAVENTURE, 1300 Leslie St. in Don Mills. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association will be greatly appreciated.
