COX, William 'Bill' - Proudly retired from Metropolitan Police ServicesOn Monday, December 1st, 2008 at Rouge Valley Centenary Site in his 85th year, after a short illness. Predeceased by his wives Alice Davis Cox and Annie (Nan) Mathers Johnston Cox. Beloved father of Linda (Peter) Taylor. Grandfather of Richard, Brent, Daniel Taylor. Great-grandfather of Bria Taylor. Also, survived by his step-children Brian (Moira) Mathers, Allan Johnston (Sandra Mackay), Stella (Burt predeceased) Clark. Step-grandfather of Andrew (Laura) Mathers, Allison (Jim) Meldrum, Michael Mathers, Stephanie Mackay, Paul (Susan) Clark. Step-great-grandfather of Jacob and Lucas Mathers, Matthew and Rebecca Clark. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th.
