Obituary of Hilda Logan

MacMINN, Hilda (Logan) On November 22nd. 2008, Hilda Logan MacMinn slept away at her home after an amazing life of almost 99 years: Mom remained appreciative, gracious and graceful to the very end. She leaves behind her devoted daughter Anne Logan McNamara, and her adored granddaughter, Alex Logan. Mom was predeceased, in 1953, by her beloved husband, Sydney Henry Logan, and his 2 children; Frances (Logan) Smart and Beatty Logan, whom she loved as if they were her own: she was also predeceased by her younger sister, Martha Lynn Boone, and her niece Adrienne (Boone) Tait. Mom will be fondly remembered by her step-grandchildren: Geoffrey Logan, Angela (Smart) Morris, (Dr.) Sydney, Ian and Robert Smart, as well as their spouses, children and grandchildren. Mom, Alex and I appreciated greatly the devoted attention, when she, and we, needed it most, shown by: Alma Gaasenbeek; and by those who were so supportive to us during these past very difficult months; and most importantly, the exceptional care and concern shown by ALL of the staff at the Balmoral Club. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in GRACE CHURCH ON-THE-HILL, 300 Lonsdale Road. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
